§ 2-289. Disposition of real property.

Disposition of real property shall be conducted at a public sale in compliance with O.C.G.A. § 36-9-3 or as otherwise provided for by state law, with the following exceptions:

(1)

A redemption of real property acquired by a tax deed;

(2)

A grant of easement or license;

(3)

A grant or conveyance of right-of-way or other transportation purpose;

(4)

A conveyance to any other unit of government;

(5)

A conveyance of recreational area to the recreation authority.
