§ 54-122. Appropriations.
Upon receipt of the surcharge from a biomedical incinerator facility, autoclave or biomedical waste disposal facility, the finance director of the county shall cause the same to be deposited into a separate account and the funds so collected and deposited are hereby appropriated to offset the impact of the facility, public education efforts for waste management, the cost of biomedical waste management, and the administration of local or regional solid/biomedical waste management plans as determined from time to time by the governing authority of the county.
